INTRODUCTION TO THE SFIS BLOG

Welcome to the SFIS blog which contains information about working with the SFIS PeopleSoft system. 

SFIS (Student Faculty Information System) is Wesleyan University’s comprehensive system to support student service offices.  (You may also see it referred to as Student Systems.)  The software for SFIS is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.  

SFIS is one of three PeopleSoft databases in use at the University.  The other two PeopleSoft databases are HRMS (Human Resources Management System) and WFS (Wesleyan Financial System).

 

SFIS is the primary system for the Admissions, Academic Affairs, Student Accounts, Graduate Student Services, Residential Life, Deans, Graduate Liberal Studies, Athletics, Public Safety, Study Abroad, and Registrar offices. In addition to supporting the administrative and academic offices, applications presented through the Portfolio System reach out via the web to students, prospective students and faculty.
