Population Selection and Update
Population Selection (Pop Select) This process allows users to fine tune the selection of person (and/or organization) IDs in several batch processes. It provides users with the ability to choose the population they wish to process and to preview that population before a process is executed.
Pop Select can be used as a batch process to run the 3C Engine: assign communications, assign checklists, update checklist items, and assign comments. It can also be used to place and release Service Indicators (using Mass Assign/Release).
If you are interested in seeing if Pop Select might be useful for your office, please submit a Service Now ticket.

Population Update is a process that enables the user to update data for a group of people (or organizations) from a list (external file), PS Query, or Equation. It allows a user to first specify the selection of a population, and then choose the field values to be updated or inserted for that population. Examples of records that can be updated via population selection and population update are Service Indicators, Student Groups, Equation Variables, Tuition Calc Flag, 3Cs, Account Detail (Mass Select Transactions) and Third Party (Mass Contract Select)
