    • Pre? Co? Anti-requisites? Learn the difference and how to enforce course enrollment policy without customization to your Campus Solutions environment. Novice users will understand how to create Enrollment Requirement Groups and the different ways you can apply them in Curriculum Management. The University at Buffalo (UB) has been using Enrollment Requirement Groups since they went live with Campus Solutions in 2011; their experience in this area provides the basis for this high-level overview which will cover options available, set-up tips, and use case scenarios. Get a glimpse into how UB increased functionality by adding Academic Requirements into their Enrollment Requirement Groups and feel empowered to begin creating and using Enrollment Requirement Groups.
  • Thursday, June 29
    • This session, an offering of the Young Professionals Group (YPG) 101 webinar series, will cover the basics of the Campus Community module. We will explore common terminology while navigating through the most common and helpful pages of the Campus Community modules. Whether you are new to a Campus Community position, are interested in increasing cross-module efficiency, or are just looking for an overview of the delivered functionality available, this session will provide a greater understanding of the module. Specific areas of focus will include person identification, affiliations, search/match, checklists, communications, comments, service indicators, delegated access, and student activity guides.
  • Thursday, July 13
    • Have you ever run into a roadblock using Query Manager and wondered if you could get the job done without direct SQL access? Are you transitioning away from Crystal Reports and want to utilize PS Query as much as possible? Do you enjoy using creativity to push a tool to its limit? If so, you will find value in this presentation of lesser-known PS Query capabilities. We will explore query criteria and prompts that allow you and your users to filter by a pasted list of desired values. We will dive deep into subqueries to filter out a variety of duplicate data. An array of expression functions will be discussed, including ones that can flatten your output data.

Learn about Pivot Grids, a tool which enables users to visually display data in different views by pivoting and filtering.  It uses PeopleSoft Query as the Data Source.  This HEUG Education Series Webinar – Pivot Grids 101 – will be presented on May 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

The Webinar is described by its presenter as follows:

Pivot grids have been extremely useful at UT Dallas, both as standalone pivot grids, and as reporting dashboards, and have saved us a lot of time. We’ll examine query best practices, pivot grid basics, pivot grid features in PeopleTools 8.53 and those that are new for 8.54/8.55. We’ll also look at some more in depth examples, and security needs and tips and tricks/lessons learned.

To register for this event, you will need to log in to the HEUG website.  Wesleyan is an Institutional HEUG member, and as such, employees may access the HEUG website, and have unlimited free access to attend and download HEUG Education Series Webinars.
