What is PeopleSoft Query?
- PeopleSoft Query is a graphical tool that allows users to easily create requests (queries) about the data contained in the PeopleSoft database through Query Manager.
- The data can be viewed through Query Manager and through Query Viewer.
- If you use Connected Query, the output can be viewed through BI Publisher.
- PS Query can serve as the data source for reports and communications with BI Publisher and Communication Generation.
With PeopleSoft Query, you can extract the precise data you want using visual representations of your PeopleSoft database, without having to write SQL statements. The queries can be as simple or as complex as necessary and they can be one-time ad hoc queries or queries you’ll use repeatedly.
